HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC) – A 25-year-old Holland man is recovering from injuries suffered when he was struck by a car Saturday night in Holland Township. Sgt. Matt Wilfong of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department says Matthew Nyland was making a left turn from Division Street onto Lakewood Boulevard about 7:20 p.m. when he pulled into the path of an oncoming car driven by a 76-year-old Holland woman. Nyland suffered head and ankle injuries and at last check was reported in good condition at a local hospital. The other driver and a passenger in her vehicle were not hurt. Wilfong says the driver of the car had the green light and the right of way
