HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A 14-year-old boy was thought to be inside a Zeeland home that was engulfed in flames Tuesday night July 27.
The Holland Sentinel reports that firefighters were on the scene just after 7:30 p.m. at a home in the 9000 block of Southwind Drive and made a heroic attempt to see if the boy was inside. He was not.
Just after crews were battling the flames, the boy appeared in the street.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. The American Red Cross was also on the scene to offer assistance to firefighters and to the family.
