PARK TWP., MI (WHTC) – An 86-year-old Holland woman apparently fell asleep behind the wheel and was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash along a Park Township road yesterday afternoon.
Deputies say that Joan Buck nodded off while driving westbound on Ransom Street near 160th Avenue. Her car drifted left off the roadway, went into a ditch, careened off of some trees and rolled over. She was taken to Holland Hospital for treatment.
The incident remains under investigation.
