HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC) – Another hotel chain is putting down roots along the Lakeshore.
A 2.5-acre site on West Shore Drive, just north of the remodeled Shops at Westshore, will be the first Michigan location for a Home 2 Suites by Hilton. The new extended-stay hotel that will have just suites would be pet-friendly and include “relaxing common areas and full kitchens,” according to a statement by Doug Taatjes, who helped broker the deal for West Shore Investors, who sold the property to IMDC Acquisitions for an undisclosed price.
A construction timeline and other particulars such as how many floors and rooms the new facility would have and when it will open were not immediately finalized.
