HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A three-vehicle traffic crash in Blendon Township has sent three men to area hospitals.
The crashed occurred at 7 a.m. Thursday, July 14 on Port Sheldon Road, east of 96th Avenue. According to Sgt. Bob Ruster of the Ottawa County Sheriffs Office, Cameron Suzenaar, 21, of Zeeland was driving a 2007 Honda CRV east on Port Sheldon Street and crossed over the centerline and struck two vehicles headed west on Port Sheldon Street. He was transported to Zeeland Hospital with non-life threatening head injuries.
The first vehicle struck was a 2004 Dodge Ram driven by Michael Fine, 50, of Hudsonville.The vehicle rolled over after impact on the north side of Port Shelden Street. Fine was transported to Spectrum Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The second vehicle a 2003 Pontiac Vibe driven by Dallas Berkley, 19 of Hudsonville who was behind Fine’s vehicle was stuck head on. Berkley suffered non-life threatening head injuries and was transported to Spectrum Hospital.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time and remains under investigation. Port Sheldon Road was shut down for approximately one hour.
