HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Despite a midday storm on Monday, the contractor for the 9th Street construction project “is making good progress.”
That’s according to the latest update statement from the City Of Holland. One eastbound lane between River and Lincoln avenues is open to traffic while work on sidewalks and driveway approaches continue. Columbia Avenue has reopened to north-south traffic at 9th Street, while College Avenue is blocked off through mid-August. Both lanes of River Avenue at 9th Street should reopen later this evening, while Pine Avenue is down to one southbound lane at 9th, with through trucks being diverted to a detour at 7th Street.
An October 10th date for the conclusion of the project is still on target.
