HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A 56-year-old Holland man is in good condition after crashing his Trek Mountain bike into a vehicle Wednesday on North River Road in front of the Taco Bell in Holland Township.
Sgt. Jay Douglas of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says that Nicole Beyer, 17, of Zeeland was stopped in a private driveway in a 1997 Honda waiting to turn onto River Avenue when Edward DeLeon who was traveling Northbound on the sidewalk, ran directly into the side of her vehicle.
DeLeon was wearing a helmet and was transported to Holland Hospital by AMR ambulance. Beyer was not injured in the crash which remains under investigation.
