ALLEGAN, MI (WHTC) – An Allegan County man has been charged with two counts of murder in North Carolina, a crime they say he committed without stepping foot in that state.
Police say 32-year-old Randy Nead of Pullman sent heroin by Fed-Ex to John Tucker and Leonard Lefford, who were staying at a Henderson County motel. They overdosed on the drugs and died in February, leaving all the evidence of the shipment in the room.
Sheriff’s Spokesman Frank Stout says Nead was extradited on two counts of 2nd degree murder and drug distribution counts and says he is being held on $2-million bond. He could get up to 30-years if convicted.
