HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A 6 p.m. vigil for the victims of the Orlando shooting is tonight at Grace Episcopal Church in Holland.
Pastor Linda Knieriemen of First Presbyterian Church in Holland is one of the Pastors who will be at the vigil tonight and says the victims names will be read as people are invited to stand in solidarity with people who are willing to be kind to their fellow human beings. Pastor Knieremen told WHTC, “It’s an opportunity to come before God and grieve with those who grieve and we will not be ignorant or silent when hateful thngs happen to other human beings.”
Everyone is welcome to the vigil. Following the vigil is a meeting for parents, family and friends of the LGBTQ community. Grace Episcopal Church is located at 555 South River Road.
