OLIVE TWP., MI (WHTC) – During this afternoon’s meeting, the Planning and Policy Committee of the Ottawa County Board of Commissioners is expected to forward two proposed policy changes to the full Board for consideration. One would close a loophole on smoking and tobacco use on county property that had allowed persons to light up or dip while sitting in parked vehicles on county property. The other would establish an anti-fraud policy that would “enforce controls and aid in the prevention and detection of fraud, waste or abuse involving an employee, a consultant, vendor, contractor, outside agency or person doing business with the county.”
