WAYLAND, MI (WHTC) – The search is underway a suspect in a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a 35-year-old Wayland area man late last night. State Police troopers from the Wayland post disclosed no names in saying that the victim had been pushing a bike along the shoulder of 135th Avenue west of 6th Street around 10:30 PM when a late-model red Ford pickup truck struck him from behind and continued traveling eastbound, apparently without even slowing down. The victim was taken to Metro Health for treatment. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Wayland post at 269-792-2213.
