HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – During tonight’s biweekly Holland City Council meeting, the panel will be asked to vote on a number of items. Among the issues under consideration is a timetable for the Holland Civic Center Place renovation and construction effort that was discussed at length during a work-study session last week; a request to rezone 18 properties Hope College owns along 11th Street in order to accommodate new student housing and parking for athletic events; and changes to the slow no-wake regulations for the city’s waters of Lake Macatawa aimed at eliminating confusion for boaters on the entire lake. Tonight’s meeting begins in Council Chambers at 7 PM.
