GEORGETOWN TWP, MI (WHTC) – Firefighters in Ottawa County are letting a home burn to the ground in Georgetown Township.
Ottawa County Dispatch confirmed to WHTC News that this is not a training exercise, but a home used by the Georgetown Fire Department as a training house. The home is on 36th Avenue just north of Baldwin Street.
Although flames and smoke can be seen this morning, Ottawa County Dispatch says residents shouldn’t be alarmed because firefighters are letting the home burn to the ground.
