HOLLAND (WHTC) — Dale Robert Melick, the suspect in a fatal car crash on Saturday (May 14, 2016), has been arraigned on one count of Operating While Intoxicated, Causing Death and two counts of Operating While Intoxicated, Causing Serious Injury.
Melick, 53, is from the Wayland area, noted Allegan County Sheriff’s Capt. Chris Kuhn in a statement to the media, and remained jailed on a $250,000 bond.
Allegan County Sheriff’s Office clarified some details about the case, noting that the woman who died in the crash, Jemimah S. Palsce, was not ejected from the vehicle as earlier reported, but was extricated from the vehicle.
