HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – You won’t see Governor Snyder with a broom in his hands during the Tulip Time Festival’s annual Volksparade tomorrow May 11, 2016 in Holland.
The governor will deliver the keynote address at the festival’s luncheon, but will leave immediately afterward and not take part in the parade, during which participants take brooms to scrub the streets of Holland.
His office says he’s unable to do it due to his Achilles tendon injury he suffered last year, which also prevented him from taking part in 2015.
