HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Saturday is National Drug Take-Back Day and the Holland Police Department and the DEA will be giving you an opportinuty to rid your home of expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs.
This is the 11th opportunity in six years that you can bring your pills for disposal to the Holland Police Department. No liquids, needles are accepted. Only pills and patches.
Last September, 3,800 federal, state and local counterparts took in more than 702,365 pounds of unused, expired or unwanted drugs at more than 5,000 collection sites across the United States.
You can drop off pills for disposal from 10:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 30, at the Holland Police Department located at 89 West 8th Street in the rear parking lot.
The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
