HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) will distribute USDA commodities to low-income families in Ottawa County on Friday April 29, 2016.
The commodity distribution is coordinated by the Ottawa County Community Action Agency. Commodities such as apple juice, peanut butter, spaghetti noodles, cereal, beef stew and more will be available to Ottawa County families who qualify. Eligible individuals must prove Ottawa County residency and individuals who receive WIC, FIP, or SNAP are automatically eligible.
The distribution will take place at several sites:
Community Action House 345 W 14th Street Holland, MI from 2-4 p.m.
Hudsonville Congregational U.C.C. 4950 32nd Ave Hudsonville, Mi from 1-3 p.m.
St. Patrick’s Catholic Church 920 Fulton Grand Haven, MI 10-12 p.m.
Church of the Saviour 180 N 68th Ave. Coopersville, MI 10-12 p.m.
To receive commodities, household income, regardless of age, should not exceed 200% of the poverty level.
