HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Tulip Time is hosting two painting parties this year.
You’ll be able to try your hand at painting tulips on canvas with the help of local artist Lisa Schulist. Schulist has recently left the business world to become a fulltime artist. Not only does she offer workshops and painting parties, but for the last two years has teamed up with 70 x 7 Life Recovery and Moran Park Church in Holland to offer weekly art workshops for individuals who have been incarcerated or are in recovery from addicton.
Schulist will provide the canvas and paint and all you have to do is show up and let your creative juices flow. She leads you through the process step by step in the two sessions that are available during Tulip Time.
Creating Tulips on Canvas is Saturday May 7 from 2-4 p.m. for all ages and then later in the evening Cheers! Let’s Paint! is from 7-9 p.m. for those 21 and over. Wine will be served at the evening class. Cost is $35.00.
