HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – If you have passion for racial equity, small group facilitation skills, and experience working with youth, then the Lakeshore Ethnic Diversity Alliance the perfect volunteer opportunity for you.
The Alliance’s “Calling All Colors” is looking for volunteers for its spring conferences. Over 8,258 people were impacted by the action plans of the 342 “Calling All Colors” students from 30 schools in six counties for the 2013-2014 program year.
There will be two information sessions in May. On Monday May 2, 2016 middle school students are invited to attend and Tuesday May 3 high school students at Grand Valley State University in Allendale. The sessions from from 8:45 a.m.-10:45 a.m.
Volunteers are required to attend a training session on April 21 from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at Lakeshore Ethnic Diversity Alliance, Macatawa Resource Center, 665 136th Ave., Holland.
