ROBINSON TWP, MI (WHTC) – Failure to stop at a stop sign caused a two-vehicle rollover crash in Robinson Township this morning.
According to Sgt. Bob Ruster of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, Donovan Stoddard, 19, of Grand Haven was driving a 2002 Grand Prix westbound on Rich Street when he passed thru the intersection and failed to stop at the stop sign at 120th Ave. act,
The Stoddard vehicle then struck a 2004 Chevy Silverado driven by David Monroe, 44, of Grand Haven who had been southbound on 120th Avenue. After impact Monroe’s his truck traveled across the southwest corner ditch area and rolled over on it’s side.
Stoddard suffered head and neck injuries and was transported to North Ottawa Community Hospital and his current condition is unknown. Monroe was treated at the scene for minor injuries and refused further treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
