HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Greater Ottawa County United Way is asking residents to nominate individuals and/or groups for Volunteer Star recognition during National Volunteer Week April 11-16, 2016.
Anyone who goes above and beyond to give his or her time and skill to an organization or to a person in need is eligible for nomination as a Volunteer Star, and anyone may make the nomination.
Nomination forms are available at www.ottawaunitedway.org/volunteer-stars and at their office in Holland at 115 Clover Street. Those without internet access or the ability to pick up a form, may call (616) 396-7811. Completed nomination forms are due by Thursday, March 31, 2016.
Volunteer Stars will be recognized during National Volunteer Week through local media, and nominees will receive a certificate and letter from United Way congratulating them on their service.
