HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Consumers Energy is warning it’s customers to be prepared for possible power outages if indeed West Michigan gets the storm predicted by National Weather Service meteorologists.
Meteorologists from the National Weather Service office in Grand Rapids have predicted heavy rain and winds gusts up to nearly 30 miles an hour. Ottawa County is under a Winter Weather Advisory from 8 a.m. this morning March 23 to 8 a.m. Thursday, March 24.
Consumers Energy is advising residents to make sure necessary devices are fully powered and flashlights are handy.

At this location, you can visit the online outage map for updates, report an outage and get other useful information. Customers can also call Consumers Energy at 1-800-477-5050 to report their power outage.

Business customers can sign up for text alerts by texting REG to 232273 (CECARE) and providing their account number when prompted.
