HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A two-car crash yesterday evening on James Street in Holland Township sent one woman to the hospital.
According to Matt Wilfong of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department, 45-year-old Victoria Klinge of Zeeland was driving her 2007 Pontiac G6 east of James Street near Kamar Drive yesterday at approximately 5:30 p.m. Following behind her on James Street was 42-year-old Grand Rapids resident Ann Heerde in a 2006 Chevy Malibu.
As Klinge slowed down to make a right turn onto a private drive, Heerde crashed into the rear of Klinge’s Pontiac. The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department responded to the crash and Klinge was transported to Zeeland Hospital by AMR Ambulance with non-life threatening injuries. She is listed in good condition. Heerde was cited for failing to stop and assure clear distance.
