HOLLAND (WHTC) — Voters in Ottawa and Allegan counties will choose more than a future Presidential candidate on Tuesday.
Ballots in both counties include local issues.

Ottawa County’s Community Mental Health Department laid off 35 employee last year in the face of a budget shortfall and a request by county officials to reduce the budget by more than $7 million over the next two years.
Allegan County, voters will choose among three candidates to replace disgraced Michigan 80th District Representative Cindy Gamrat, ousted from office last year after a sex scandal and failed cover up were made public.
Candidates for the 80th district seat at Republican Mary Whiteford, who lost to Gamrat in the last regular election; Democrat David Gernant and Libertarian Arnie Davidsons.
MAX bus riders can get a free trip to the polls tomorrow but only on the fixed route system. Dial-A-Riders still need to pay for their trips and the transit agency is asking them to schedule Tuesday trips as soon as possible.
