HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – One person was injured in a one-vehicle crash early Sunday, Feb. 28, on Ottawa Beach Road in Park Township.
Sgt. Matt Wilfong of the The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office said a 1999 Chevy Blazer driven by Jeremy Tengler, 24, of Holland was headed eastbound on Ottawa Beach Road near Counts Cove Court at about 1:30 a.m. when he lost control of the vehicle.
The Blazer ran off the north side of the road struck and fence and a utlilty pole. The utility line broke which caused electrical lines to be in the road.
Tengler was not injured. His passenger, 25-year-old Aja Kirberg, of Holland, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Zeeland Community Hospital and was listed in stable condition.
Ottawa Beach Road was closed while crews cleaned up the crash scene, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
