HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Michigan is adopting changes to the GED high-school equivalency test scoring that will benefit hundreds of residents who are trying to achieve their educational career goals, according to Stephanie Comai, director of the state Talent Investment Agency.
The change, which has been made by 32 other states based on the recommendation of the GED Testing Service, updates the test’s passing score for high-school equivalency to 145 from 150. Approximately 700 hundred adults who have taken the test since Jan. 1, 2014 will be notified of this change by email and will be granted passing marks on the GED.
