ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) – Downtown Zeeland invites you to put on your plaid and head to their first annual Plaiderday Chili Crawl this Saturday February 20 from 2 to 5 p.m.
Nine different downtown businesses including the Elbo Room, Tripelroot and Frank’s Restaurant will serve as tasting locations where participants can come in and try all types of chili. Tickets are available at Tripelroot in downtown Zeeland at 146 E. Main Avenue. You will be given a scorecard with the chili tasting location, the name of the chef and the name of the chili. Once you’ve tasted all the chili at the tasting stations, turn in your scorecard to Tripelroot where votes will be tabulated.
Plaiderday will also feature a 20-mile “Chili Toes Fondo” bike ride to benefit The Bridge Youth Ministry Center in Zeeland. The ride starts at 1 p.m.
