HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Zeeland City Council approved changes to its alcohol ordinance at last night’s meeting.
There are several new changes including amending the food-to-alcohol sales from 60 percent to 50 percent and allowing speciality food stores or small beer or wine distillers to provide take-out beer and wine sales.
The Holland Sentinel reports the measure was passed in a 5-1 vote.
The alcohol review committee will use these changes when it reviews liquor licenses in March.
