RAVENNA, MI (WHTC) – A 16-year-old boy has died of his injuries from the February 4 crash that killed his 10-year-old sister Erika and injured his 18-year-old sister.
The Kubasiak Family Care Page on Facebook posted an update Wednesday afternoon.
“On this day, February 10, 2016, a beautiful spirit left the mind and body of our son Peter. Like a butterfly reborn from the cocoon, he is free. Free from the trappings of the world. And though we will all grieve for some time, look for the spring butterflies and smile. Our son Peter wouldn’t want it any other way. God bless all of you and always hold your children close.”
The post also said Emily’s condition continues improving.
Investigators say Emily was driving to school last Thursday with her brother Peter and sister Erika. Emily was trying to pass another car when she lost control and was hit by an oncoming vehicle.
A fund has also been set up through Choice One Bank and Saint Catherine Church. All donations can be labeled Kubasiak Memorial Fund and taken to all Choice One Branches or sent to:
