HOLLAND (WHTC) — The sister of the driver charged in the Dec. 16 traffic-crash death of John Jerome Dolegowski, 58, has also been charged, according to Allegan County Sheriff’s Office.
Nancy Lynn Ferrier, 45, was arraigned Wednesday on the charge of allowing a suspended person to operate, causing death. Her twin sister, Catherine Gertrude Bender, was charged in January for driving on a suspended license, causing death.
According to police, Bender failed to stop at a stop sign and the car she was driving collided with Dolegowski’s pick-up truck.
The sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by Hopkins Fire Dept., Wayland EMS, Aeromed, Gun Lake Tribal Police and the Michigan State Police.
