HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The one-time executive assistant for Hope College’s Theater Department, Judyth Mary Thomas, passed away on Thursday at her Holland home. The 72-year-old primary founder of Ladder Homes, which ministers to those suffering from mental illness, Ms. Thomas was also the author of the book “The Drums Fell Silent but the Voices Still Speak,” and spent more than 20 years in her position at Hope, where she and both of her parents had received degrees. Visitation is Wednesday evening at Lakeshore Memorial Services before an 11 AM Thursday funeral at Calvary Reformed Church.
