HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The City of Holland has a new director of community and neighborhood services.
Joel Dye, one of the city’s planners for 15 years, has also served as the home repair program manager and community development coordinator. He’s been Holland’s interim director for more than 14 months.
Dye’s a Grand Valley Sate University graduate, with a bachelors of science degree in geology and planning as well as a master’s degree in public and nonprofit administration. He’s a former Antrim County associate planner.
The Ohio native moved to West Michigan in 1995. He and his wife, Erin, have lived in Holland’s Washington Square neighborhood for 15 years. Their family participates in youth sports leagues.
