HOLLAND (WHTC) — Holland’s Public Safety Department detectives are looking for a red or white vehicle — possibly a Chevrolet Grand Am or Grand Prix — in connection with a gun-brandishing incident reported Monday evening.
Two Hope College students told police the two suspects “challenged them to fight and flashed a long gun,” according to an HDPS statement emailed to the media Tuesday afternoon.
The two students fled but were not pursued, according to police.
The two suspects in the car are described as black males between the ages of 20 and 25; one has a heavy build and was driving the car. The other was thin, with short hair and was last seen wearing a red-colored hoodie, police said.
Police are asking that anyone who may have been in the area at the time who may have seen the suspects or vehicle to contact Holland Department of Public Safety at (616) 355-1150 or email investigators at policetips@cityofholland.com.
