LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Governor Snyder may be going over the final draft of his sixth State of the State address that he will deliver to a joint session of the Legislature on Tuesday evening.
MIRS News is reporting that the Chief Executive is expected to renew his call for action on the Detroit Public Schools reform package, along with dealing with energy and criminal justice reforms, but many observers believe that Mr. Snyder will need to bring up the Flint water issue in his remarks for the speech to be considered pertinent.
Protesters seeking his removal from office due to the Flint situation are expected to attempt to disrupt the address.
