HUDSONVILLE, MI (WHTC) – Training sessions are being held for churches in Ottawa County to prepare as best as possible for a mass shooting or other kind of attack.
Hudsonville Grace Community Church Safety Ministry leader Garry Brand is working with the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department on the sessions, which will be held January 28th and February 20th. Brand says solutions will differ from church to church, so they’re going to focus on making sure plans are developed.
He adds no church should feel that they’re too small or in too remote an area for some tragic event to happen.
