HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) — Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim in the Jan. 12 crash on M-104: Russell William Kent, 67, of Spring Lake.
Wednesday’s weather created similar white-out conditions during the afternoon commute as those in effect when Kent was killed. Police responded to multiple slide-off and rollover crashes, as well as fender benders and at least two serious injury crashes.
One two-vehicle crash, on 16th Street at Maple Avenue, sent a car into a building, according to Ottawa County Dispatch reports. Another injury crash happened at 16th Street and Waverly Avenue — the most crash-prone intersection in the city.
