LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Opponents of Michigan Senate Majority Leader Arlan Meekhof and state Senator Wayne Schmidt are not going away quietly.
The state’s Board of Canvassers will consider new recall petitions against the two from Frank Boersema and William Bailey again tomorrow. The pair have been trying several times to recall the lawmakers over their votes to increase fuel taxes and vehicle registration fees to pay for road work.
Every recall petition submitted to date has been rejected.
