HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A rollover crash sent two people to the hospital Sunday evening.
According to Sgt. Kristi Wendt of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, Matthew Hulet, 18, of Hudsonville was eastbound on Port Sheldon Street west of 48th Avenue in Blenden Township when he lost control of his vehicle on the icy roads. The vehicle went off the right shoulder of the roadway and rolled several times.
Hulet and his passenger Shari Herrmann, 43 of Jenison were both transported to Zeeland Community Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Hulet was cited for basic speed too fast for conditions and the crash remains under investigation.
