GEORGETOWN TWP., MI (WHTC) – Two women from Flint spent the overnight hours on Sunday at Metro Hospital after their vehicle crashed on a snow-covered and slushy I-196 near the 8th Avenue overpass east of Hudsonville. Deputies say that 18-year-old India Brunett lost control of her car just before midnight on Saturday evening. The vehicle veered to the left, rolled over several times and came to rest in the median. Both she and her 19-year-old passenger Joslynn Brown were buckled up and were taken to the Wyoming-based medical facility in good condition for treatment. Deputies added that both women were buckled up, Brunett was apparently driving too fast for the road conditions and that alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
