MUSKEGON, MI (WHTC) – A former Navy ship on the Lakeshore was damaged due to the high winds from the recent storm.
The LST 393 which is docked along Muskegon Lake was pushed 12 feet away from the dock on Monday. The former World War II ship’s staircase also fell in the lake.
The ship is now a military museum. IIt is also used for parties, reunions, weddings and more. Estimated damage is about $30,000 to $40,000.
