LANSING, MI (WHTC) – The state Department of Technology, Management and Budget’s monthly regional look at seasonally unadjusted unemployment rates showed a three-way tie for the lowest jobless rate in November. Ottawa, Kent and Washtenaw counties all had a 2.9 percent mark, a tenth lower than Clinton County, and three tenths below that of Allegan County. The Lakeshore counties each had a dip of a tenth of a percentage point from October levels, and a year ago, those marks stood at 3.8 percent in Ottawa County and 4.0 in Allegan County. State officials say employment patterns were normal last month.
