OLIVE TWP, MI (WHTC) – A two-vehicle crash has left a Holland man in serious condition at Spectrum Hospital in downtown Grand Rapids.
According to Sgt Brian Buter with the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, Brian Redder, 18, of Holland was driving his 2004 Grand AM southbound on 104th and failed to stop at the signed intersection for Jordan Geertz, 23, of Hudsonville. Geertz who had the right of way, was eastbound in a 2010 GMC Terrain on Stanton street when the crash occured.
Geertz struck Redder’s vehicle and forced it into as private yard in the southeast corner fo the intersection.
Redder was flown via Aeromed to Spectrum downtown. Geertz was uninjured, but sought treatment evaulation at Holland Hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
