HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -You can give the gift of heat and meals this holiday season with the Greater United Way of Ottawa County.
President Patrick Moran says the type of people who are seeking their services are working families who earn between the poverty line or the livable wage threshold. 35% of the working population in Ottawa County live at or below the cost of living for the community. Moran says they just need a little help to get through sometimes.
For a $52 donation you can provide 208 meals or 13 days of heat for local individuals and families.

If you need help or have a need, you can call 211 and they can help with shut off notices, other bills, food and shelter.
