GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC) – The leadership of the newly formed West Michigan Works organization has been finalized, with Dave Smith, president and CEO of the Employers’ Association, as the Chairman of the Board, and Jim Fisher, Padnos director, as Vice Chairman. They will head up a panel made up of 34 members from seven counties, including both Allegan and Ottawa counties, which was created by the merging of four separate Michigan Works offices in October. The agency serves as a conduit for getting qualified personnel into job vacancies throughout the region.
