HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Hope College football coach Dean Kreps is relinquishing his gridiron duties after 30 seasons with the Flying Dutchmen, including the past 21 years as head coach. Under his guidance, the Orange and Blue went 109-97, including an 83-42 mark in MIAA play with six conference championships. A member of the Hope faculty since 1986, Kreps will remain as an associate professor of kinesiology at the school through the end of the Academic 2016 year, while the search for the seventh-ever Flying Dutchmen football coach “will begin immediately,” according to school officials.
