MANILUS TWP., MI (WHTC) – One man was hurt and his dog was killed when a storage unit between Saugatuck and Hamilton exploded around 9:15 this morning. State police troopers say that a propane tank used in a legal medical marijuana growing operation burst at the Storage Unlimited complex off of 60th Street. The injured man, who was not identified, was working at an adjacent unit when the explosion occurred and was taken to an undisclosed hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. No damage estimate was initially made as investigators continue to probe the incident.
