Victor Donaldson will be sentenced for his second-degree murder conviction on Monday, according to the Holland Sentinel.
A jury convicted Donaldson in August for the July 2014, stabbing death of Japaris Rodgers.
Donaldson’s sentencing was repeatedly postponed while court officials investigated how a juror’s notebook came to hold a print out on self-defense from Wikipedia, the online encyclopedia.
Donaldson’s legal team tried to use self-defense in proving his innocence in Rogers’ death.
Donaldson is set to appear at Ottawa County Circuit Court in Grand Haven and faces a sentence up to life in prison.
