BENTON HARBOR, MI (WHTC) – It’s one of the feel good stories of the year. Benton Harbor High School has been awarded a $10,000 football scholarship in the name of coach Elliot Uzelac.
The announcement came yesterday by ABC reporter T.J Holmes during a live segment on “Good Morning America.” Uzelac who has coached at Michigan, Navy, Western Michigan and the Cleveland Browns in the NFL, came out of retierment this season to guide the Tigers to their first winning season in years. it was also their first playoff appearance ever.
Coach Ezelac surprised the Tigers football players by telling them they were all gouing to Walt Disney World on an all expenses paid trip.
