HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The four-year-old “Greater Hope” comprehensive capital fundraising campaign for Hope College has concluded. The Holland school garnered more than 203 million dollars, over 28 million dollars more than the initial goal of 175 million set in October of 2011. The cash helped build, renovate and/or acquire a number of facilities, most notably the Miller center for Musical Arts, the Kruizenga Art Museum, the Haworth Engineering Center, the renamed Smith Stadium, and the under-construction Bultman Student Center. In addition, the campaign also established 182 endowed scholarships.
