CROCKERY TWP, MI (WHTC) – A Muskegon man is in the hospital after hitting an unoccupied vehicle parked on the shoulder on I96 in Crockery Township.
According to Sgt. Matt Wilfong with the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, Philip Stone, 30, of Muskegon was driving a 2002 Ford Focus around 1:15 am and left his lane and stuck an unoccupied vehicle on the shoulder. His vehicle then veered back cross the highway, weny into the median and hit several trees.
Stone was transported to Mercy Hospital in Muskegon where he is listed in good condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
